HOW TO WASH A RAIN JACKET

PREPPING

• Read the care label: Before you start washing your rain jacket, check the care label for any specific washing instructions. Some rain jackets may need to be washed in cold water, while others may require a specific type of detergent.
• Pre-treat any stains: If your rain jacket has any stains, pre-treat them with a stain remover before washing. This will help remove the stain and prevent it from setting in during the wash.
• Close all zips and secure any velcro, then turn the jacket inside out.

WASHING

• Put it in a standard wash with ideally 30°C water, or cold water if your machine doesn't have that option. Do not use fabric softener or bleach - these can damage the waterproof coating on your rain jacket. For extra protection, wash it with Grangers Performance Wash Concentrate, which is designed to maintain the performance and enhance the existing water repellency of your waterproof and tech gear.
